Course aims
The purpose of the subject is to provide an overview of EAMT study organization for newly registered students, to introduce students' rights and obligations and the academy's support systems. It also introduces the possibilities of entering the music and theatre labor market and various forms of entrepreneurship, reveals the nature of entrepreneurial behavior, and gives an overview of the institutional structure of the Estonian music and theater sector.
Learning outcomes
A student who has passed the subject:
- is familiar with EAMT study organization and support systems;
- is aware of the principles and measures of equal treatment;
- can use the library and electronic catalog ESTER;
- has basic knowledge of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial behavior;
- orients himself in the landscape of Estonian performing arts;
- knows the basic forms of small and micro enterprises;
- has an idea of the legal status of the creative person.
