Course aims
The elective or free elective conducting course is intended for students of any speciality, interested in conducting. The student acquires the basic manual techniques of conducting, skills of communicating musical information through conducting, knowledge of score analysis, interpretation of different styles as well as work with choir. The student's active involvement in the choir (as a singer, choirmaster or conductor) is recommended. The students who have the necessary prerequisites and carry out the systematic work, acquire the skills necessary for future work as a choirmaster and as a conductor of an amateur choir.
Learning outcomes
In the case of strong potential and systematic work, students will acquire the basic skills for working as a choirmaster as well as a conductor of an amateur choir.
