Course aims
To present different approaches and methods in Artistic Research; to help doctoral students to find the optimal methodology for their thesis.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the doctoral student:
- has an overview of research methods in the arts (including music and theatre),
- is competent to formulate research questions and choose relevant methods,
- acquires a broader view of the practices in the different arts and is able to find possibilities to integrate them in his/her creative activities,
- aquires greater competency in writing his/her doctoral thesis.
