Course aims
The course aims to develop the students’ improvisation skills as well as the skills of analysing improvisation, to teach students to recognise the main principles of jazz phrasing and to create melodic lines suitable for different styles of jazz.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the subject, students will have acquired the work methods and means necessary for a jazz musician for shaping their improvisational material.
