Course aims
The course aims to further improve the quality of improvisational skills by learning how to write authentic melodies based on the jazz tradition.
Learning outcomes
During the two semesters students will acquire knowledge and technique to improvise using authentic melodic devices and proper jazz vocabulary. Weekly assignments will help to cultivate a writing/practicing routine and raise the productivity of the students.
