Course aims
This is a mandatory course for string, wind and percussion majors. It aims at developing the students' pianistic and musical abilities and provide experience of playing in ensemble, as well as basic accompaniment skills. Systematic attention is paid to sight reading, using both piano solo repertoire and the piano part of pedagogic repertoire of the student's main instrument, for the purpose of using it for prospective teaching.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student
- will perform the required program with artistic exprssion and technical accuracy
