Course aims
The aim of the subject is to prepare the student for independent professional work in the field of recording arts, developing creativity, responsiblity, analytical capacity, theoretical knowledge, practical experience and communication skills.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the module the student will be able to
1. Plan, lead and accomplish professional level recording sessions.
2. Apply appropriate methods and techniques for solving various issues and problems related to recording and sound engineering.
3. Demonstrate systematic knowledge of the aesthetics and current issues recording both modern and classical or historical music.
4. Demonstrate understanding of humanities and positon one's work in a wider cultural context.
5. Creatively integrate the obtained knowledge, skills and experience into one's own professional career and activity.
6. Communicate and participate in his/her own language of instruction, and at least one more language, in discussions and on various topics related to recording arts and music, both in verbal and written form.
7. Successfully participate in teamwork, exhibit tolerance for different values and attitudes.
8. Assess critically the obtained level of knowledge and skills.
