Course aims

Students learn how to build simple electronic instruments, read simple schematics and solder. Introduce DIY (do it yourself), circuit bending, noise aesthetics in electronic music history, where self built instruments are one of the key elements. Group size: 3-5


Learning outcomes

Student is able to
- use tools in commonly used in electronics
- recognise electronic components- resistors, capacitors, transistors, ic …
And has basic knowledge of their principles
- solder
- read easier electronic schematics
- make more complex instruments through connecting easy circuits.
