Course aims
The subject aims to introduce to students the basic concepts and knowledge of music recording. The main devices, such as microphones, loudspeakers, mixing console, etc. will be discussed in detail, as well as both the subjective and objective parameters that influence the judgment and evaluation of musical sound and its quality.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the subject, students will know the basic concepts, means and technology of sound recording.
