Course aims
The aim of this subject is to give overview about western microtonal music, and teach different composition methods of microtonal music.
Learning outcomes
The student passed this subject is conscious of different western microtonal music composers and their essential works. The student is able to describe the basic construction principles of microtonal scales and, based of them, can construct such scales and evaluate their harmonic qualities.
