Course aims
To introduce the main principles of electroacoustic music composition and analysis that have been developed during the second half of the 20th century and to implement these principles in the analysis of selected works.
Learning outcomes
The student knows the main terms and vocabulary of electroacoustic music and is able to distinguish the main compositional techniques (while listening to music). The student is able to analyse historical electroacoustic composition (and also their own works) both in writing and orally using specific terms and vocabulary.
