Course aims
The aim of the subject is to provide students with the skills and experience needed for composing for various choir types.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the subject, the student will:
1) be familiar with the different voice types and vocal ranges;
2) know and accurately use the dynamic possibilities of various vocal ranges;
3) command vocal notation;
4) be able to create different choir textures (based on what is needed);
5) write short compositions for at least three different choir types.
