Course aims
The aim of the course is to give the theoretical overview of principals of visual composition, methods of organising visual elements and colour theory; to provide theoretical knowledge for practical creative process dealing with both two- and three-dimensional objects and space.
All activities of the course are related with sound/music - the role of the visual is to expand the sound domain and create multisensorial experience.
Learning outcomes
The student knows classical composition rules and is able to apply them in different practical creative situations, also in the level of abstraction. They are able to analyse different art works and can make connections between visual images and sound, based either on a subjectively created system or on the basis of recognized theories in the field.
They are able to use different media and materials in the creative process, has knowledge of the basics of video technology and montage.
They can justify their creative decisions and artistic ambitions and plan the work process from a draft to a complete work.
