Course aims
This course aims at providing the student with the knowledge and hands-on experience with accompaniment on the basis of chord symbols, and the basics of jazz improvisation.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student
- will have developed a certain level of fluency in rhythmic accopaniment
- will demonstrate the ability to improvize in various jazz idioms.
