Course aims
The aim of the course is to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills to understand the role and career of the authors and performers in the music field and their position in society; and to communicate these through various forms and channels in cooperation with the artist.
Learning outcomes
The student who has passed the course:
- understands the importance of profile and public communication in the professional development of a musician,
- can analyze, describe, present and convey the profile (story) of a musician/collective in different formats (home page, program page, short biography, introduction video, etc.) to different target groups and for various purposes,
- knows the necessary activities and work methods for systematic and smooth cooperation with a musician/collective when creating a profile,
- has knowledge of image design, personal branding and storytelling,
- has an overview of the role of an artist manager,
- can see the connections of a musician and its works with different areas of life and describe its position and role in society,
- is able to notice ethically sensitive issues related to public profile.
