Course aims
Mastering important segments of one's instrument's orchestra repertoire. The aim of the subject is to prepare the student for orchestra auditions and work in a professional orchestra.
Learning outcomes
A student who has passed the subject
- has practically acquired the orchestra excerpts of his/her instrument in specified compositions and is familiar with the entirety of these musical works.
- is able to elaborate on orchestra excerpts individually.
- can implement guidelines given by the teaching staff in his/her playing.
- has been introduced to the audition process of professional orchestras.
- is able to prepare him- or herself mentally for an orchestra audition.
