Course aims
This 1-year course is designed for wind, percussion, voice and choir conducting majors, and aims at developing musical hearing and attention and perception of harmony, as well as memory and analysing skills.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student will be able to
- sing 1-voice exercises
- sing 2-voice exercises as duet or playing the 2nd voice on the piano
- transpose singing exercises
- sing, as arpeggios, secondary dominants with their resolutions and modulations into closely related keys
- sing chords, as arpeggios, learnt at the classes
