Course aims
The course aims to introduce the fundamentals of research and academic writing, thus preparing students for writing a final research paper in English.
Learning outcomes
On the completion of the course, a student
- has a good knowledge of fundamentals of research and academic writing (incl. the requirements for the components and formatting of the EAMT final research paper)
- can navigate the more prominent catalogues and databases necessary for the information search (incl. ESTER-catalogues and EAMT library (e-)resources).
- knows which materials to use in questions concerning text creation (incl. orthography) and/or formatting that arise when writing the thesis.
