Course aims
In this course, we will explore different aspects of the development of Estonian pop music from the Soviet period to the 21st century, focusing in parallel on musicians and music itself, as well as on the music scene, especially fan culture. The course will position Estonian pop culture in the context of global and local developments and examine it closely related to socio-cultural processes.
