Course aims
The course gives an overview of innovative trends, original notations and techniques in the 21st century chamber music.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the subject, the student will:
- be able to describe and compare the different styles in 21st century avant-garde music,
- know the standard repertoire of 21st century chamber music for his or her selected instrument,
- be familiar with the most important notation types and basic notation marks for alternative playing techniques of the 21st century.
