Course aims
The course aims at opening up and developing the active creativity. Students learn to think in sounds and notes as well as to express themselves, ensemble play (reaction to partner) as well as release the "lethargic" tension caused by extensive practising of the instrument.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student will demonstrate
ability to concentrate and control his/her thinking, creative impulses and activity over the time span of 8 to 10 minutes. The student will be able to improvize alone shortly, as well as improvise in group together with other students, displaying a sense of ensemble and co-musicianship.
