Course aims
The subject is designed for Master's students. It aims at developing creative capacity and activity of the students, ability to think more directly and spontaneously in musical terms, self-expression, group and ensemble skills, reaction and response to other musicians, and resolving the possible problems of a certain stiffness of musical experience caused by traditional methods of instrument practice.
The course is a continuation of the respective courses in recent years (by the same teachers), both in terms of group and solo improvisation.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student will demonstrate the ability to concentrate and control their thinking, creative impulses and activity over the time span of 8 to 10 minutes. The student will be able to improvize alone shortly, as well as improvise in group together with other students, displaying a sense of ensemble and co-musicianship.
