Course aims
This course is aimed at introducing the student to the styles and playing techniques of performing in traditional music ensemble. Different instrumental settings and possible arrangements are discussed.
Learning outcomes
A student who has completed the course:
- Has an overview of the essence of traditional music;
- Understands the specifics of ensemble playing and is capable of participating in various roles within an ensemble;
- Can creatively apply specialized skills in ensemble playing.
