Course aims
The aim of the subject is to develop the skills of playing early music instruments, as well as to acquire the stylistic devices and repertoire of early music. The subject can be selected in bachelor and master’s programmes over 6 semesters in total.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the subject, the student will:
- be familiar with the styles of early music and know how to perform them,
- know the playing technique of the respective instrument,
- know how to use embellishments, create articulations and vary the musical score.
