Course aims
Gregorian choir enables the student to become better acquainted with Gregorian chant. In addition to chanting, the students can also learn Gregorian conducting.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the subject, the student will:
- have a thorough knowledge of Gregorian chant;
- have a thorough knowledge of the early stages in the European history of music,
- be able to independently perform Gregorian chants from the earliest musical scores,
- be able to better analyse and perform music in general.
